HISTORIC POSTCARD JIGSAW PUZZLES

St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Washingtonville, NY

Head over to our Games and Home Activities section of our Local History Guide  for this week's historic postcard jigsaw puzzle!

Established in 1902, Saint Mary's Catholic Church started as a small parish on the site of what is now Walden Savings Bank on East Main Street. This circa 1915 postcard shows the church after it was moved to its present location and expanded to fit an increased congregation. Although the church has since been replaced by an even larger building, the original bell is still on view outside of the present church.
