WHAT IS HOME DELIVERY SERVICE?
The Friends of the Moffat Library and the Moffat Library have worked together to offer Home Delivery Service for many years now.
If you are unable to get to the library, LIBRARY BOOKS (including large print books), DVDs, MUSIC CDs, PRE-LOADED TABLETS, AUDIOBOOKS (on CD), VIDEOGAMES, MAGAZINES and OTHER LIBRARY MATERIALS can be delivered right to your home!
HOW DOES THE HOME DELIVERY SERVICE WORK?
Patrons would need to contact the Moffat Library by phone (845-496-5483 x 324) or by email: moffat@rcls.org or fill out our ONLINE FORM to let us know you are interested in this service.
A library staff member would then contact you to discuss the general types of materials you are looking for and delivery frequency (monthly, bi-weekly) and day/time, etc.
Once you request service, a library staff member will then package your items safely and contact a Friends of the Moffat Library volunteer.
A delivery service volunteer member of the Friends of the Moffat Library will then deliver your requested items to your home. They will also pick up items that are to be returned to the Library.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
PLEASE NOTE: All precautions for your safety and the safety of staff and volunteers will be adhered to throughout the process.
