Kids Programs at a Glance

Take & Make Craft Kits (for all ages):

Pick up a craft project to complete at home when you visit the library!  Stop by the library drive-thru or ask when you check out materials for a kit of free supplies.  New projects are available every month.  Take & Makes are limited in supply.  First come, first serve!

Summer Reading Program (for all ages):

Join us for a whole summer of Reading Challenges, fun events, raffle prizes, and more!  Summer Reading is a free program for people of all ages, including babies and adults.

Summer Reading is a yearly, themed reading program that starts at the end of the school year.  Information on Summer Reading is available each year in late spring.

Books and Babies (for ages 6-23 months w/ their caregivers):

An interactive nursery rhyme program for babies (6-23 months) and their caregivers.  Each program incorporates board books, songs, and playtime to promote early literacy.

Family Storytime (for ages 2 & up w/ an adult):

We will sing, move around, and enjoy some stories!  Let’s meet some new friends!  Open to children ages 2 & up with an adult.

Lego Club (for grades K-5):

An hour of Lego free play for elementary school aged children.  We provide the Legos and you provide the creativity!

Halloween Carnival (for all ages):

Put on your costume and visit the library for a night of Halloween fun presented by our Teen Advisory Board!  Games, activities, and treats for all children!  This event is for children ages 3-8 with an adult.
