ALEX'S LEMONDADE STAND RAISES FUNDS FOR CANCER RESEARCH

Moffat Library Celebrates the
10th Anniversary of
Alex's Lemonade Stand

Organized by former staffer and now board member, Abby Peterson, Moffat Library celebrated the 10th anniversary of Alex's Lemonade Stand, an annual fundraiser for childhood cancer research, on Saturday, August 18, 2019.

The stand was visited by Alex's mom, Liz Scott, as well as by NYS Assemblyman Colin Schmidt and many, many local residents. Emily Kinney, Head of Youth Services, was on hand to do a craft with the kids.

Over $1,500 was raised towards the cause. A new record!
Thanks to all the volunteers who donated their time and energy towards this!
