Apollo 13 returned to Earth

APOLLO 13:  HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM

with NASA Ambassador John Fontana via Zoom on Wednesday, May 6 at 6:30 PM

Those five words signaled a problem that could have had catastrophic consequences for astronauts Jim Lovell, Fred Haise, and Jack Swigert.  They were about 200,000 miles from Earth (which turned out to be a good thing).  But thanks to brilliant teamwork, brilliant and creative NASA personnel, and a lot of luck this ended as “NASA’s Finest Hour.”

Join local NASA Ambassador John Fontana for a look at this inspiring story of how three astronauts and a team of NASA Scientists were able to overcome the impossible to return the team safely home to Earth!
