DELVE THE DATABASES!

We've all been cooking from home quite a bit more. Whether you've got just a few recipes in your repertoire or you're an experienced home chef, the library can help! With the right resources, cooking can be a fun and healthy activity for the whole family.  Each week we've been collecting easy and simple recipes to help turn those pantry staples into something delicious. You can also explore our collection of digital cookbooks.

We also know that many people right now are struggling with food insecurity. There are many cookbooks that aim to let people with limited incomes to enjoy nutritious and flavorful food. One of our favorites is Leanne Brown's Good and Cheap - you can get a free electronic version on her website. We'd also like to highlight the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley as a place to go to receive help. And, if you remain secure during this pandemic, a donation there can make a big impact.
