Methodist Episcopal Church on East Main Street in Washingtonville, N.Y.

HISTORIC POSTCARD
JIGSAW PUZZLE

#ThrowbackThursday: This week's historic postcard jigsaw puzzle is based on a 1915 postcard by Rudolph Brothers showing the Methodist Episcopal Church on East Main Street in Washingtonville, New York. The church was constructed following a schism within the First Presbyterian Church in the late 1840s, and has served a variety of purposes over the years, including a Grange Hall in 1925, fireman's hall, and school.

It currently serves as the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post. Although the steeple has been removed, the remaining structure remains mostly intact. To view this and other puzzles or historical materials from our collection, visit our local history guide today!
