SUMMER READING PROGRAM 2025
ADULT SUMMER READING PROGRAM for ages 18+How it Works: Come to the library and register for Summer Reading to receive your Summer Reading Log and your Adult Artist Bingo Card. Log all the books you read between July 8th and August 2nd. Each logged book will earn you a raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets will be awarded to adults who attend a special program or complete bingo on their Adult Artist Bingo Card. Raffle tickets can be entered to win a special prize bag. Winners will be announced at the end of the Summer Reading Program.
TEEN SUMMER READING CHALLENGE for ages 12-17
How it Works: Come to the library and register for Summer Reading to receive your Summer Reading Log. Log all the time you read between July 8th and August 2nd. 1 hour of reading will earn you a raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets will be awarded to teens who attend a special program (1 raffle ticket) or volunteer (2 raffle tickets). Raffle tickets can be entered to win a special grand prize. Winners will be announced at the end of the Summer Reading Program.
CHILDREN’S SUMMER READING CHALLENGE for ages 6-11
How it Works: Keep track of the books you read together or by yourself from July 8th – August 2nd, including books you read aloud to one another. Earn 1 raffle ticket for each hour of reading. Don’t wait until the last minute to report your reading, come to the library for fun programs and to receive your raffle tickets and stamps on your reading log from our teen volunteers. Winner will be announced at the end of the Summer Reading Program.
BABIES—5 YEARS READING CHALLENGE
for ages 0-5
How it Works: Keep track of the books you read together or by yourself from July 8th – August 2nd, including books you read aloud to one another. Earn 1 raffle ticket for each hour of reading. Come to the library to collect stamps on your reading logs, attend fun special programs, and receive your raffle tickets from our teen volunteers. Also, try our Rubber Ducky Readers program! For every 5 (five) literacy activities you and your child complete, you will have earned a real rubber ducky!
