Due to power outages and disruption of internet access, our scheduled meeting to discuss The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek has been postponed by one week. As a result, all Great Beginnings Book Club meetings in the near future have been pushed back. This change is now reflected on our calendar.
The Great Beginnings Book Club normally meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm.
While our meeting room is closed, however, we will temporarily be increasing the frequency of meetings to every alternate Tuesday at 7:30 pm. This is to offer people an additional opportunity to enjoy the book club and socialize, as well as an excuse to read some lighter and shorter stories during the pandemic. Don’t worry if two weeks is too short a time to finish the book; we would be thrilled to to see you at whatever meetings work for your schedule.
Moderated by John Donaldson.
New members are always welcome!
