Great Beginnings Book Club
Date(s) - Tuesday, October 20
6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
The Great Beginnings Book Club normally meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm.
While our meeting room is closed, however, we will temporarily be increasing the frequency of meetings to every alternate Tuesday at 7:30 pm. This is to offer people an additional opportunity to enjoy the book club and socialize, as well as an excuse to read some lighter and shorter stories during the pandemic. Don’t worry if two weeks is too short a time to finish the book; we would be thrilled to see you at whatever meetings work for your schedule.
Moderated by John Donaldson.
New members are always welcome!
Our October 20th meeting features The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix.
You can view the book’s description and catalog record at the links below. Our physical circulation service has resumed, but you might find it difficult to get hold of a physical copy in time to read it for our meeting. Between October 6th and October 20th, all Moffat cardholders can borrow a digital copy of The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires without any waiting or hold period. Please feel free to reach out to email@example.com if you are having difficulty getting a copy.
