Computer Classes – Building Digital Literacy (Adults)
Date(s) - Friday, November 4
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Friday, November 4 from 2 PM to 3 PM, in the large meeting room.
Computers are an ever increasing part of our lives and often necessary to accomplish day-to-day goals. But how do computers work and what should we do when something goes wrong? Join one of our librarians to learn some basic vocabulary necessary to talk about computers, some easy, practical steps to take when addressing any technology problem, and resources to get more computer practice. This class is aimed at beginners and people with no prior digital experience – but even someone who uses computers every day might learn a thing or two!
This class is the first of a three part series in Autumn 2023. Click here to register for the second and third classes in the series. It is not necessary to attend all three to benefit, but we strongly recommend that anyone just learning how to use a computer attend this one. Future classes will refer to basic concepts discussed in this class.
Space is limited. Please register online at https://moffatlibrary.org/events-calendar/ or call (845) – 496 – 5483 ext. 325 if you have any questions or need assistance registering for this event.
