Re:       FOML Membership Renewal for 2016-2017

Programs for 2016-2017

Hello to all Friends of the Moffat Library-

Thank you for supporting FOML over this past year and we hope you will renew your support for the upcoming year: 2016-2017.

The Friends of the Moffat Library and its many generous members continued to support the Moffat library and its programs and to promote the library’s role in the Blooming Grove/Washingtonville community throughout this past year.   FOML is a member of the Blooming Grove/Washingtonville Chamber of Commerce, the New York Library Association and Friends of Library Section; thus maintaining our commitment to advocacy for the Moffat Library.

Furthermore, during the 2015-2016 year, FOML sponsored these programs and projects: the Holiday Open House and Family Story Hour, the decorating of the library for the holidays, the Annual Meeting and the program with Anthony Musso, the Tenth Annual Authors Luncheon with William Klaber and William Alexander at the Round Hill House, a Staff Appreciation Breakfast, the Teen Art Show Reception, Betty’s Country Kitchen Fundraiser and the Homebound Program. The funds raised were designated for the historic Moffat Library Building Fund and the Summer Reading Program. Furthermore, the Friends have participated on the Building Committee for the Moffat Library.

FOML will be selling ornaments that depict the historic Moffat Library as a fundraiser for the library this year. These ornaments may be purchased at the Moffat Library and the Corner Candle Store in Washingtonville.

FOML is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization.  Thus, contributions to FOML are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

The Board of Directors of the Friends of the Moffat Library looks forward to your joining the FOML again and asks for your assistance in its efforts to be an effective advocate for the Moffat Library.

Please renew your membership in the Friends of the Moffat Library for the year 2016-2017!

Complete the renewal form and send it with your dues to the address on the form by October, 31, 2016

We look forward again to having you as a Friend and working together with you on the programs that are planned for the following year!
