Learn how to knit while making a cozy scarf for winter! On Wednesday January 14, January 21, January 28 and February 4th from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, learn how to knit a scarf from a local knitter. The class will start with casting on stitches, knit stitches, purl stitches, increasing and decreasing stitches and binding off. They will also learn more common stitches like the stockinette and garter stitch.*
Registrants will have to supply the following items: US 8 needle any length (not circular or double pointed), and 400 yards of smooth worsted weight yarn (ex. Red Heart, Caron). No dark colors. Space is limited!
